The “Aurelio De Felice” Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art is a moving museum: open, dynamic, and multifaceted — a place that treasures past experiences while imagining the future.
Starting from the core of its pre-existing collection, which unfolds an intriguing artistic journey from the late Middle Ages onward, featuring works of exceptional quality, the museum moves toward an exploration of the twentieth century and its experimental movements, eventually embracing the most contemporary aesthetics through both established artists and emerging young talents in an ongoing dialogue open to new perspectives.
From this creative “exuberance” was born the project TAM – Terni Art Mapping, which takes the museum beyond its walls and into the urban space itself.
The museum is part of the project The Enchanted Valley: Routes Through Art, History, and Nature, exploring the museums and most beautiful places of southern Umbria.
