Scope of this policy

This privacy policy is issued pursuant to Art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and applies to all users of the tourism portal terrediotricoli.it. It describes how personal data is collected and processed during browsing and use of the services available on this site.
This policy does not apply to third-party websites that may be reached via links on this portal.

 

Data processed and purposes

Navigation data

Technical data is automatically collected during browsing, including: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, date and time of access. This data is used solely for aggregated statistical purposes and system security. IP addresses are anonymised. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Accommodation enquiry form

The portal provides an enquiry form for accommodation facilities in the area. Data entered (name, email address, and any optional fields) is transmitted directly by email to the accommodation selected by the user. The Municipality of Otricoli acts as a technical intermediary only; any further processing by the accommodation provider is subject to that provider's own privacy policy. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures at the request of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Statistical analysis (Google Analytics 4)

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. GA4 collects aggregated data on user behaviour to improve the browsing experience and portal content. Data may be transferred to servers located in the United States; such transfers are carried out in accordance with Arts. 44 et seq. GDPR, using Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). GA4 is activated only upon user consent via the cookie management tool (Usercentrics). Legal basis: consent of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

 

Cookies and consent management

This portal uses technically necessary cookies and, subject to consent, analytical cookies (Google Analytics 4). Consent preferences are managed through the Usercentrics platform, which allows users to give, modify, or withdraw consent at any time. Disclosure of data to third parties

Personal data is not sold or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes. Data may be shared with:

  • Accommodation providers selected by the user, for the purpose of responding to enquiries
  • Technical service providers (hosting, analytics) acting as data processors under Art. 28 GDPR
  • Competent authorities, where required by law

Data is not subject to general disclosure and is not transferred to third countries beyond what is described in the Google Analytics section above.

 

Data retention

Navigation data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. Data submitted via the accommodation enquiry form is transmitted directly to the relevant provider and is not retained by the Municipality beyond the time technically required for transmission.

 

Your rights

Under Arts. 15–22 GDPR, you have the right to:

  • access your personal data
  • request rectification or erasure
  • request restriction of processing
  • object to processing
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal
  • lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority
