Church of the Most Holy Saviour

Documented as early as 1235 as Cappella Sancti Salvatoris, this is one of the oldest churches in Otricoli. Small and almost hidden along Via Rosella, it preserves a remarkable artistic heritage: a cycle of votive frescoes from the 14th and 15th centuries, including three rare depictions of the Madonna del Latte (Virgin of the Milk), as well as Saint Michael the Archangel, Saint Anthony Abbot, and a Crucifixion scene.

During restoration work between 2001 and 2006, the original altar was uncovered. It consisted of a travertine column and a Roman marble altar slab, now incorporated into the current liturgical altar.
