The Garden of Biblical Plants is a regeneration project located in the historic centre of Otricoli (TR), in Umbria. This initiative is part of a broader cultural and social regeneration plan for the village, funded by the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan) under investments for the attractiveness of historic villages.

Key highlights of the project:

Context: The garden is part of the local project "La Porta dell'Umbria: knowing and doing between past and future."

Purpose: The aim is to create an immersive and educational trail, often linked to guided tours of the village, including the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria Assunta and the archaeological areas.

Content: It is a green space hosting plants, trees and species mentioned in sacred texts, offering a space for botanical and spiritual reflection.

Realisation: The project involved the commissioning of works for the creation of the infrastructure, with feasibility studies dating back to 2023.

The Biblical Garden represents one of the natural and cultural attractions integrated into the urban fabric of Otricoli, alongside educational vegetable gardens, aimed at enriching the tourist and historical offering of the area.
